To the family of Deacon John Laws, I had the honor to serve on the Deacon Board @ UHOP-Norfolk #1 for over 20 years alongside my brother in Christ. He was a model deacon in United House of Prayer For All People. I'll miss the delicious BBQ ribs that he and his wife (St. Joanne Laws-deceased) prepared on the grounds of UHOP-Norfolk #1 and UHOP-Philadelphia for many years with plenty of love. Sleep on Deac. and take your well earned rest.

I offer my heart felt sympathy for our loss. We truly love Deacon Laws. He was always upbeat and jolly. He would greet me with some footwork and throw "the old 1-2 punch." He often shared various testimonies and his love of God. What a beautiful soul. He will be missed.
